Join us for an interactive editing session with photographer August Cochran.
Open Edit is a session where members of the community are invited to edit, arrange and re-arrange, and sequence photographs in free dialog with the sitting photographic artist. Prints are presented on a 12-foot magnetic wall and are meant to be engaged with, similar to the experience of forming words and phrases with alphabet letters on a fridge door.
August Cochran is a photographer born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, with a focus on night photography. His work often captures the overlooked after-dark moments in urban and suburban environments. August’s use of artificial light and natural elements such as fog and snow help create an atmosphere inviting to the viewer.
This event is free and open to the public.
