Join us for a artist lecture with photographer Hannah Yoon.
Hannah Yoon will show her journey as a Korean Canadian in becoming a photographer and what it means to to document the Korean diasporic community.
Yoon is a Korean Canadian freelance photographer based in Philadelphia, PA with a focus on portraiture, documentary, and photojournalism work. With clients like Apple, National Geographic, The New York Times, and NPR, she’s worked across the US with an interest in the stories of diasporic communities.
Yoon is a member of Women Photograph, Diversify Photo, and is a foudning member of Authority Collective. She also serves as a jury member for the Tom Hanson Photojournalism Award, an award for emerging Canadian photojournalists.
